To implement national strategy, focus on cultivating talent for international organizations, and promote outstanding students to undertake internships and positions at international organizations, the Talent Development Academy for International Organizations (TDAIO) launched the “Brussels–Paris: Exploring International Organizations” program. Our university actively organized student participation. As a result of selection and interviews, three students — Dong Linhan and Jia Zhiqi from the International College, and Chen Tingqiu from the School of Journalism and Communication — began a three-month internship from July to October 2025 (one month on-site in Europe + two months online), marking a breakthrough for our university as the first to place students in positions or internships within international organizations.

The host organization is based in Paris, France, and is dedicated to training elite talent with global competence and innovative mindsets in the fields of international organizations, diplomacy, global governance, and sustainable development. The organization maintains good relations and frequent communication with many international bodies such as UNESCO and the European Union, providing a wide range of development opportunities for outstanding talent worldwide.

During this internship, the students participated comprehensively in the work of the international organization. Main activities included attending organizational workshops, conducting research exchanges and information gathering with the international organization and local institutions. This program helped deepen students’ understanding of international organizations, improve multicultural adaptability, and broaden their international perspectives. It also cultivated their ability to approach issues from the standpoint of international public servants, thereby further advancing the diversified development of our university’s international education.
