During March 18th to 22th, the President Philip and the delegation members, seven people in total arrived at Hebei University for a working visit.

On the morning of 21st, the president Fu Guangsheng and vice-president Yang Xuexin met the president Philip and the delegation members. They exchanged views on issues about cooperation in running the “Human Resource Management” undergraduate program.

The officers in charge of the course from National College of Ireland and the officers from Teaching Affairs, Finance Department, International Cooperation Office and College of Management attended the meeting.

During the visit, vice-president Yang with delegation members had a deeply talk with each other on deepening the cooperation between two universities for the exchange. President Philip and delegation members also met the undergraduate students of the  “Human Resource Management” program and sent the admission letter to the students who were about to study in their college in 2016. Subsequently, students were introduced to the sports culture in Ireland, the situation of studying in National College of Ireland as well as the process of visa application. And they had a conversation with the teachers who were exchanged to attend the training. The professor accompanying, Deiss, gave a special lecture to the teachers and students major in human resource in college of management. 

Hebei University and National College of Ireland already have the in-depth and practical communication and cooperation since established partnership the year 2012. In 2013, the “Human Resource Management” program was admitted by Ministry of Education and began the collection activities from September in the same year. The number of planned enrollment in 2014 was 55 and the admitted students number was expected to 55 in 2015.
