The Sports Association delegation from Yilan County of Taiwan paid an exchange visit to HBU

       In the afternoon of January 6th, as a major project of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of PRC, the Sports Association delegation including 34 from Yilan County of Taiwan paid an exchange visit to HBU, accompanied by deputy directors Han Yanliang and Rong Jingxi from the Exchange Office of Taiwan Affairs Office of Hebei People's Government and the director Lju Yongzhen from Taiwan Affairs Office of Baoding People's Government.

       In the multi-function hall, the Sports Association delegation from Yilan County of Taiwan communicated with the leaders of Physical Education Department, Communist Youth League Committee of School and Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs Office, and teachers and students of Martial Arts Association in an experiential and interactive way. On behalf of HBU, the leaders of Physical Education Department welcomed the visitors from Taiwan and introduced the situation of our physical education and the development of our Martial Arts Association. Cai Gangzhi, the chairman of the Sports Association from Yilan County, conveyed his thanks for the warm reception and exchange activities of martial arts sports arranged by HBU, which he hoped would promote the cross-strait cooperation further in the future. On behalf of HBU, the leaders of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs Office presented souvenirs to the Sports Association of Yilan County. Then the teachers of Physical Education Department and teachers and students of Martial Arts Association showed traditional martial arts performances with the characteristics of Hebei, especially Baoding, for Taiwan visitors.

        During their visit, the Sports Association delegation from Yilan County of Taiwan learned about the historical evolution and current development situation of our school by visiting the exhibition of HBU history so that the visitors were deeply impressed by our profound cultural heritage.
