Vice-Chancellor Robin Banerjee of the University of Sussex Visits Hebei University

On the morning of March 19, Vice-Chancellor Robin Banerjee and a four-member delegation from the University of Sussex in the UK visited Hebei University. Our university's Vice-president Zhang Yangjian met with the visiting delegation, joined by colleagues from the International Cooperation Office, Academic Affairs Office, International College, and the School of Journalism and Communication.

During the meeting, Zhang Yangjian warmly welcomed Robin Banerjee and his team, introducing the achievements of our university in recent years. He expressed the hope that the two institutions would further their exchanges and collaborations across various fields. Robin Banerjee outlined the key areas of development studies and other interdisciplinary strengths at the University of Sussex, wishing for closer cooperation and communication between the two universities in the future. The two parties engaged in in-depth and pragmatic discussions regarding the 3+M joint training programme agreement, student exchanges, and faculty and student interactions. Currently, our International College and relevant colleges at Sussex have confirmed six collaborative programmes, achieving full coverage of the ISEC programme, which includes Software Engineering, Information Management and Information Systems, Finance, International Economics and Trade, Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Journalism.
